LITERATURE AUTHORS IN ENGLISH FOR KIDS. Maurice Sendak.

Abstract. Weeks ago our teacher Raquel Fernández showed us important authors in English kids literature shortlisted. There were David Shannon, Roal Dahl, Julia Donaldson, Maurice Sendak, Marc Brown, E. B. White, Eric Carle, Dr. Seuss, Beatrix Potter and Alan Alexander Milne. Each group at random, have to create a Power Point with a basic information about this authors like life, characteristics of their stories, and a reason why it is a good author. At the end of the expositions we had to vote for the best of the authors under our criteria. For me the best was Maurice Sendak, I will tell you why. 

First I will show the basic data of the author using a useful tool called Trading Card Creator. That it is very useful because, it is fast to use, sumarize very well information of a concrete character and it can be use with children.

The best way that you discover his stories and illustrations is seeing it. Here I let you see some of them, I hope you enjoy.
